Our Founding Story
As long-time proptech founders, California renters, and clean energy enthusiasts, Ross and Greg empirically noticed that rental homes were being left behind in the transition to clean energy.
What started as a curious observation swelled into a burning conviction that something had to be done. We believe that software has the power to align incentives between property owners, renters, and financial institutions, which will dramatically accelerate the transition to net zero for millions of rental properties. We’re humbled by the scale of the problem, motivated by the opportunity, and thrilled to have the support of incredible teammates and investors as our journey begins.
Greg Sirotek
Greg started his career in Cleantech Investment Banking at Baird and transitioned to a decade of founding and scaling proptech startups. First, as a co-founder of RentMethod, then as a founding team ops leader with Airbnb Plus and Head of Home Experience with Airbnb Lux.
Ross Gruber
After studying computer science at Columbia University, Ross has worked as a Senior and Lead Engineer at venture-backed startups Dia & Co, and most recently UpKeep, where he led the rebuild of the core backend infrastructure to improve scalability.
